• Safya was born in 1983, Hawler.
• She finished her primary, secondary and preparatory schools in Hawler.
• Bachelor of Arts in Kurdish Language & Literature, College of Education/ University of Salahaddin/Hawler, 2005.
• PhD in Contemporary Poetic Styles, Koya University, 2013.
• She started to work as a lecturer in 2008, currently works as an assistant professor at University of Raparin, College of Basic Education, Department of Kurdish Language.
• She has started writing and publishing papers since 2011, till now she published 8 articles in academic journals.
