In line with its purpose and scope, our journal may publish special issues to evaluate specific topics, current scientific developments, original areas of research, research projects, and the outcomes of conferences, symposia, and other academic events. The topic, scope, language of publication, and publication schedule of special issues are determined by the Editorial Board. When deemed necessary, guest editors who are experts in the field or a dedicated editorial team may be appointed to ensure the scientific and editorial coordination of the special issue.

Manuscripts submitted for a special issue must comply with the journal’s general publication policies, scientific quality standards, and principles of publication ethics. All submissions undergo a preliminary review; works deemed suitable in terms of scope and format are evaluated by independent peer reviewers specializing in the field through a double-blind peer review process. Special issue editors and guest editors are responsible for maintaining the impartiality and transparency of the review process. Editors who have articles in a special issue have no editorial authority regarding the review and decision-making processes for their own work; these processes are conducted by an independent editor.

Articles to be included in a special issue are determined based on peer review reports and editorial evaluations. The fact that a work has been submitted for a special issue does not guarantee its publication. Our journal reserves the right to reject works that do not meet scientific standards or publication criteria. All works published in special issues are subject to the journal’s current ethical principles and publication policies, including those related to plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and other matters concerning research and publication ethics.
