Writing Rules

Studies to be sent to the journal should be prepared in accordance with the explanations below. In addition, there is an article template of the journal in the link below the explanations. If the authors prepare their work in accordance with this template or copy it without changing the template, it will accelerate the pre-acceptance of the article.

1. Works to be sent to the journal should be written; In MS Word program, Times New Roman, 11 font size with 1 line spacing, one line space should be left between paragraphs and 2.5 cm space should be left from all sides in the page layout. Tables should be no more than 10 fonts. The work should not exceed 25 pages, including references and appendices.

2. The candidate article to be sent to the journal, prepared in accordance with the template, should be uploaded to the Dergipark system without adding the names of the authors and without an expression to reveal their identities. The uploaded file name must not contain the names of the authors and the file information must not contain any author information.

3. The "Copyright Transfer Agreement" must be signed and uploaded to the Dergipark system during the article submission process.

4. The parts of the work should be in the following order: Cover page (title in Turkish, Abstract, title in English, Abstract), main text, references, broad summary and (if any) appendices.

5. It is important to ensure the unity of publication that the works to be sent to our journal have the following features:

Title: The title of the study should be written in 12 font size, Times New Roman, centered, bold, single-spaced, only the initials of the words are capitalized, not exceeding 12 words, and should be clearly written.

Author(s): The full name and surname of the author(s) should be written in capital letters, 11 font size, centered under the title and in Times New Roman font. The address of the institution and the e-mail address should be written under the name, centered, 11 point size and in Times New Roman font.

Abstract: It should be written in 9 font size, Times New Roman, 1 cm inside from the main text, with single line spacing, in a single paragraph, covering the purpose, method and results of the research, and written between 150-300 words. If the language of the article is Turkish, “Turkish Title” and “Abstract”; In English, “English Title” and “Abstract” should be written first.

Keywords: Each article should contain keywords that reflect the content of the study, in 9 font size, single-spaced and 3-5 words at the bottom of the Abstract and Abstract. Keywords should be written in sentence form, only the first letter of the first word should be capitalized and the others should be written with lowercase letters.

Main text: The main text should be written in 11 font size, single-spaced and Times New Roman font. Paragraphs should start 1 tab inside, one line space should be left between paragraphs.

The main titles of the work should be written in 12-point, single-spaced, centered, capitalized first letters, bold and Times New Roman font.

Other sub-headings should be written in 11 font size, left aligned, capital letters and Times New Roman font. Main and sub-headings should not be numbered.

Tables: Tables should be placed in the text. Tables should be numbered and titled sequentially. Tables should be prepared in accordance with APA 6 standards. There should be no vertical lines in the tables, the lines used in the tables should be at most 1.5 pt, and except for the category naming at the beginning of the rows and columns in the tables; There should be no lines between rows and columns. Table title above the table, including the table number; The table name should be written with the first letters of the words capitalized and the following letters in lowercase and italic. The texts in the table content should be no more than 10 points in size and should be set without spaces before and after the lines.

Figures: Diagrams, pictures, figures and graphics, if any, should be printed on a white paper and should be intelligible. The figure title is under the figure, by specifying the figure number; The figure name should be in uppercase, the rest of the words should be in lowercase, normal characters. If the source is used, it should be stated in parentheses. Figures that do not fit at the end of the page should be placed on the next page. Figures should be given after the References if they are in a number and form that would disrupt the integrity of the text.

References: References should be prepared in accordance with APA 6 (American Psychological Association-6) standards.

Attachments: Article attachments, if any, should start on a new page. The scale, sample, etc., which are thought to be attached to the work by the author(s). should be included in this section.

Author's Notes: If there is an author's note, it should be indicated with an * (asterisk) sign in the title, and it should be written at the end of the main text before the list of references.

Please prepare your candidate articles using the EEA article template.

You can use the text you copied from the original document without breaking the formatting by pasting it as "right click" + "keep text only".

At least 3 words of Turkish and English keywords should be included in the article in bold characters.

Submitted works are firstly subjected to preliminary examination (via any plagiarism program) by the Editorial Board in terms of the compatibility of the subject with the journal, the compliance of the articles with the objectivity criteria and the principles of publication ethics, the format requirements and the absence of plagiarism, and the appropriate ones are sent to the referees.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal should not have been published anywhere before.

The opinions and legal responsibilities in the published article and other studies belong to the authors.

For the works that are found suitable by the Editorial Board, evaluations are made with the application of blind referees and they are accepted for publication with the positive opinion of at least two referees. The procedures regarding the number of referees and the operation of the process are at the discretion of the Journal Editorial Board.

If the Editorial Board deems it necessary, additional information and documents may be requested for applied studies.
