Educational inequality is too deep and complex to be studied under pedagogical themes or headings alone. Considering that education inequality is both a cause and a result, it is necessary to examine inequalities with their different aspects and to discuss effective solution proposals in order to ensure social justice. This issue of Alanyazın-CRES Journal focuses on critical analysis of the concepts such as social justice, equality of opportunity, inequality in education. The problem of language learning and teaching continues to be the subject of many different disciplines such as linguistics and its sub-branches, psychology, sociology, cognitive sciences, and computer sciences. Communication opportunities that emerged in the world after the millennium brought new opportunities and questions in this field. For this reason, in this issue of the CRES Journal (Critical Reviews of Educational Sciences), It will focus on how people learn their own language or other languages and how languages can be taught more effectively.
