Yetenek Yönetimi ve Eğitim Örgütlerinde Uygulanabilirliği

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 67 - 83, 31.05.2022

Abstract

Günümüzde küresel bir köy haline gelen dünyada zorlu rekabet koşulları ulusal veya uluslararası düzeyde tüm sektörlerde köklü değişiklere yol açarak önemli kararlar almaya zorlamıştır. Yaşanan hızlı değişim rüzgarını arkasına almak isteyen örgütler yetenek kavramını ve sağladığı rekabet avantajını keşfederek yetenek yönetimine ciddi kaynaklar ayırmaya başlamışlardır. Örgütlerin yetenekli çalışanlara her zamankinden daha fazla ihtiyaç duyduğu bu çağda yetenekli çalışanların örgütlere çekilmesi, yeteneklerinin geliştirilmesi ve örgütte tutulması örgütler açısından her geçen gün daha zor hale gelmektedir. İnsan kaynakları yönetiminden yeteneklerin yönetimine doğru bir geçiş yaşayan iş dünyası, yüksek performansa sahip yetenekli çalışanlara ya da bünyesinde bulunan yetenekli çalışanlarına yönelik yeni stratejiler geliştirip eylemlerde bulunarak örgütlerini bir üst noktaya taşımayı ve başarıya ulaşmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda eğitim örgütleri de yaşanan dönüşüme kayıtsız kalmayarak yetenek yönetimi kültürünü kendi örgütleriyle bütünleştirmeyi sağlayacak çalışmalara ağırlık vermeye başlamışlardır. Ülkemiz açısından değerlendirildiğinde özel okulların yetenek yönetimini devlet okullarına kıyasla daha etkili kullandıkları, devlet okullarındaki merkezi, katı hiyerarşik yapı ve bürokrasiden dolayı yetenek yönetimi uygulamalarının sınırlı düzeyde seyrettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yetenekli çalışanlardan daha fazla yararlanmak adına yetenek yönetiminin kamu kurumlarında kullanılabilirliğini artırmaya yönelik çeşitli politikalar geliştirilmelidir.

Talent Management and Applicability in Educational Organizations

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 67 - 83, 31.05.2022

Abstract

In today's world, which has become a global village, tough competitive conditions have led to radical changes in all sectors at the national or international level, forcing important decisions to be taken. Organizations that want to take the wind of rapid change experienced behind them have started to allocate serious resources to talent management by discovering the concept of talent and the competitive advantage it provides. In this age, where organizations need talented employees more than ever, it’s becoming more and more difficult for organizations to attract talented employees to organizations, to develop their talents and to keep them in the organization. The business world, which is undergoing a transition from human resources management to the management of talents, aims to carry their organizations to a higher point and achieve success by developing new strategies and taking actions for talented employees with high performance or their talented employees. In this context, educational organizations didn’t remain indifferent to the transformation and started to focus on efforts to integrate talent management culture with their own organizations. When evaluated in terms of our country, it has been concluded that private schools use talent management more effectively than public schools, and that talent management practices are limited due to the centralized, strict hierarchical structure and bureaucracy in public schools. In order to benefit more from talented employees, various policies should be developed to increase the usability of talent management in public institutions.
