ÂSÂR Journal of Academic Religious Studies does not require authors to transfer their copyrights. Authors (or their employers) retain copyright over their articles. The only requirement from the authors is to accept publication under the CC BY-NC license. All articles published by ÂSÂR Journal of Academic Religious Studies (regardless of the research funder) are published as open access and are allowed to be reused under the terms of the CC BY-NC open access license.
Authors retain the copyright of their works published in ÂSÂR Journal of Academic Religious Studies, and their works are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. The CC BY-NC 4.0 license permits sharing, copying, and reproducing the work in any medium and format, as well as adapting, transforming, and building upon it, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work and the usage remains non-commercial.
