SOSYAL MEDYA KULLANIMINDA UTANGAÇLIĞIN SOSYAL SERMAYE İLE DUYGUSAL ZEKÂ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ VE BİREYSEL MUTLULUKTAKİ DEĞİŞİM

Abstract

Teknolojinin
gelişimi ve kitle iletişim araçlarının çeşitlenmesi kişilerarası iletişimin
niteliğini etkilemektedir. Günümüzde, sosyal medya sosyalleşmenin bir aracı
olarak giderek daha fazla bireyi kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada her kültürde var
olduğu bilinen utangaçlığın, bireyin sosyal medya ilişkileriyle geleceğine
yaptığı yatırım ve duygusal yetenekleri üzerindeki etkisi ve bunların da
bireyin yaşama dair olumlu düşünceleriyle etkileşimi araştırılmıştır.



Doğrulayıcı
faktör analizi ve Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın
sonuçlarına göre; utangaçlık değişkeninin sosyal sermaye ve duygusal zekâ değişkenleri
üzerinde negatif yönlü etkiye sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca sosyal sermaye ve
duygusal zekâ değişkenlerinin ise bireysel mutluluk değişkeni üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.
