All manuscripts submitted to Akdeniz İİBF Journal are firstly pre-evaluated by the Editorial Board. The refereeing process is not initiated for manuscripts that are not suitable for the scope of the journal or that do not comply with the format of a scientific article in terms of content and form.

The names of the authors of the manuscripts submitted to Akdeniz İİBF Journal and the names of the referees who evaluate these manuscripts are kept mutually confidential. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal and deemed worthy of being sent to referees by the Editorial Board are evaluated by two referees. The Editorial Board may increase the number of referees if necessary. The referees evaluate the manuscripts in terms of scientific contribution, the way the problematic of the study is handled, the level of utilization of the relevant literature, compliance with the scientific article preparation order, the methods and findings used in the field research (if any) and other elements they find important, and submit their written opinions to the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board sends a copy of the referees' comments to the author(s). When the corrections requested by the referees are completed by the author(s) within the period deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board, the manuscript is resubmitted to the referees. The final evaluation of all manuscripts that have reached the publishable stage for the referees is made by the Editorial Board. After the decision is made, the manuscript is placed in the publication queue and the acceptance decision is notified to the author(s). The author(s) who are notified that their manuscript has been placed in the publication queue must fill out the Copyright Form and submit it to the Journal Editorial Office. Otherwise, the relevant article cannot be published. Articles by the same author cannot be published in two consecutive issues. Only one of the articles published in an issue can belong to the members of Akdeniz FEAS. Editorial Board members cannot submit their studies to the journal to be published.
