He received his master’s degree in Sociology and Social Policy with merit in 2013 from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, where he studied on a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education. He completed his PhD at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Sociology with his thesis titled “Urban Regeneration Examples in the World: A Comparative Case Study with Fuzzy Set Ideal Type Analysis”. He works in the fields of environmental sociology, climate change, urban sociology and sociology of disaster. He currently works as a lecturer in the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Letters at Bartın University.

Nadire Gülçin Yıldız, 1991 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümünden psikolog unvanı ile mezun oldu. Ardından bir yıl Devlet Planlama Teşkilatı, bir yıl ise Mardin Midyatta Psikolojik Danışman olarak görev yaptı.

1995-2011 yılları arasında özel ve akademik nedenlerden dolayı Amerika Birleşik Devletlerinde bulundu. The University of Iowadan 2003 yılında Okullarda Psikolojik Danışmanlık; 2004 yılında ise Eğitimin Sosyal Temelleri alanlarında yüksek lisans dereceleri aldı. Eğitim yıllarında, The University of Iowa da araştırma asistanı ve öğretim görevlisi olarak görev yaptı.

CACREP Ulusal Okul Danışmanı Sertifikasına sahiptir ve bu çerçevede Iowa eyaletinde çeşitli okullarda çalıştı. 2011 yılında NBCC onaylı Ulusal Psikolojik Danışman belgesi almaya hak kazandı. Amerikan Psikoloji Birliği onaylı kurum ve kuruluşlarda zengin klinik tecrübelere sahiptir. 2011 yılında The University of Iowadan Danışmanlık Psikolojisi Eğitimi alanında doktora derecesi aldı.

The University of Iowa, Kadın Kaynak ve Eylem Merkezinde girişimcilik, savunma ve travma üzerine; Öğrenci Danışmanlık Merkezinde psikolojik, akademik ve kariyer sorunlarına yönelik; İnsan Hakları Merkezinde uluslararası çocuk işçiliği üzerine çalışmalarda bulundu. The University of Iowada Uluslararası Belin-Blank Üstün Zeka Eğitim Merkezinde akademik ve klinik çalışmalarda bulundu ve Üstün Zekâ Eğitimi sertifikasına sahiptir. Ayrıca, özel eğitim ve kişisel gelişim eğitimlerine sahiptir.

Profesyonel literatürde Mental Health Counseling, Community Counseling, Family Counseling, College Counseling ve School Counseling olarak bilinen Ruh Sağlığı, Toplum, Aile, Üniversite ve Okul Danışmanlığı alanlarında çalıştı. Okul, Aile ve Toplum İşbirliği temalı doktora çalışması 2011 yılında Lambert Akademik Yayıncılık tarafından basıldı.

Dezavantajlı çocuk ve ergenler, olumlu sosyal ve kültürel dinamiklerin insan psikolojisine etkisi, holistik iyilik hali, duygu-düşünce birlikteliği, terapi sonucunu belirleyen ve etkileyen faktörler, dezavantajlı popülasyonları konu alan sosyal politikaların yapılandırılması, olumlu sosyal davranışların nöroplastisiteye ve bireyin sosyal, psikolojik ve akademik anlamda kendini gerçekleştirmesine etkisi ilgisini çeken konular arasındadır.

Aile ve Sosyal Politikalar Bakanlığı adına yürütülen Bireyselleştirilmiş Psikososyal Rehabilitasyon Modeli Projesi ve Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı adına yürütülen Kanıta Dayalı Mentörlük Eğitimi Projelerini yürütmüştür. İstanbul Belediyesi Kültür A.Ş. Danışma Kurulu üyesi olarak, çocuk kitaplarına psikolojik danışmanlık hizmeti sunmuştur.

Aile Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi müdürü ve Aile Danışmanlığı Koordinatörlüğü yapmıştır. Psikolojiye Giriş, Grup Süreç ve Dinamikleri, Bilişsel Psikoloji, Psikoterapötik Görüşme, Psikoterapi Kuramları, Sosyal Psikoloji, Mentörlük ve Toplumsal Sorumluluk, Manevi Danışmanlık, PDR İlke ve Teknikleri, Okullarda PDR Uygulamaları gibi dersler vermektedir.

DR. NADIRE GÜLÇIN YILDIZ
Dr. Yildiz graduated from Hacettepe University with a BA degree in Psychology. After teaching at the K-12 school system in Turkey, she pursued her graduate degree to advance her knowledge and skills working with children and youth. Dr. Yildiz received her School Counseling MA degree in 2003, her MA degree in Social Foundation of Education in 2004 and her Doctorate degree in Counselor Education from the University of Iowa in 2011. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), which is the prominent certification for the counseling profession in the United States.

Following her graduation from the University of Iowa in 2011, she returned home to Turkey. Since then she has been employed at several private universities located in Istanbul and actively engaged in conducting social projects and research, geared toward institutionalized children. She has been teaching various undergraduate and graduate courses and has worked as the director of Family Research Center, where she designed, planed and managed Family Counseling Certification Programs based on standards and benchmarks defined by the state. She also conducted training programs (e.g., various life skills training for engaged couples and family practitioners; and also for educators in the K-12 school system).

To improve the lives of institutionalized children, Dr. Yildiz has designed, coordinated and conducted several projects at the national scale sponsored by the Turkish government including Evidence Based Mentoring Programs and Individualized Rehabilitation Models focused on utilizing healthy peer relationships for social and emotional rehabilitation of disadvantaged, institutionalized youth. 

With similar aspirations she now works as an advocate for children who are affected emotionally by divorce and separation in an international organization called "Leading Women for Shared Parenting". Dr. Yildiz asserts, "When reviewing the stories of these children, I come across issues related to problematic attachment patterns. As a strong way to prevent these children from these social and emotional issues, it is essential to facilitate opportunities for social support. Research underlines that problematic attachment patterns result in social and emotional issues. Opportunities for social support are a great way to relearn and establish new ways of behaving. As one learns to behave differently, he or she can learn to act differently, resulting in the experience of oneself in a new perspective. For this reason she become a member of the ‘Leading Women for Shared Parenting.’ With similar aspirations now she is in the leading coordinator of EU Project with EU partnering countries for the project titled "Mentors are Not Far Away" developing mentoring programs and conducting formative training for at risk youth. Currently, she works at Istanbul Medipol University, where she conducts research and teaches various courses in the field of counseling.

Dr. Bakla is a lecturer at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Turkey. He holds a PhD degree in ELT. Among his research interests are CALL, LMSs and feedback in L2 writing. He has published in various international journals, including Language Learning & Technology, ReCALL, English for Specific Purposes, Computers & Education, Qualitative Research and Instructional Science. He has translated various academic works into Turkish. He is the author of the book Putting Pen to Paper: Academic Writing.

Maliye ve sosyoloji lisans eğitiminin ardından iktisat ve din sosyolojisi alanlarında yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamlamıştır. Bankacılık sektörü ve özel sektörde muhtelif görevler üstlenmiştir. İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi İslam Ekonomisi ve Uluslararası Finans Programında doktorasını tamamlayan Yunus Emre Aydınbaş işgal ettiği akademik pozisyonlarda araştırmalarına devam etmektedir. Çalışmaları İslami iktisat metodolojisi, İslami iktisat düşüncesi, İslami ekonomide mali yapı ve vergi sistemi, ahlâk ve iktisat konuları etrafında yoğunlaşmaktadır. 04/04/2024

Suat Beylur holds a PhD degree in Sociology from Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University and an MA in International Relations from Hacettepe University. Prior to joining the Eurasian Research Institute of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Turkish-Kazakh University, Beylur has worked as an advisor in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) (2006-2010); and expert, director and head of department for the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism (YTB). Beylur’s research interests lie primarily in the areas of multiculturalism, social change, youth and religion-state relations in Central Asia.
