Matematik ve Resim

Abstract

. Doğanın anlık görüntülerinde nefes kesen bir resim ve onun altını çizen bir matematik dili görürürz. Matematik ve resmin kendine göre kuralları olmakla birlikte, her ikisinde de estetik aranır. Bazı resimler matematiğin doğasını ortaya çıkarırken, bazıları matematiksel kavramları farklı açılardan göstermeyi seçer. Resim kanvasının nasıl bölündüğü matematiktir. Neleri içine alıp neleri almadığı matematiksel bir dizi sebep barındırabilir. Gözle görüneni matematikleştirmek, fırça darbelerinde fraktal aramak, açık ve kapalı kümeler, estetik kaygısıyla altın oran içeren gösterimler, nokta, doğru ve düzlem kullanımını kurallara bağlamak, yüksek boyutları küçük boyutların içine hapsetmek, zamanı gösterebilmek, aynı odadaki farklı bakış açılarını aynı aynda verebilmek, kaosu resmetmek, ve noktaları anlamlı dizilerde kullanmak, resimdeki matematiksel kavramları incelemek; resim ve matematiğin kesişimleri olabilir. Bu makalede farklı ressamlardan örnekler verilerek, resim sanatı içindeki matematik ve matematiksel akımlar derleme yolu ile verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın özellikle matematik eğitiminde resim kültüründen yararlanmak isteyen kişilere ve resimde resmin matematiğini araştırmak isteyen kişilere bir derin kaynak yaratacağı ve bu sayede yarar sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.

Mathematics and painting

Abstract

. In the spontaneous moments of nature, we see a magnificent painting and mathematics language underneath. Both mathematics and painting have their rules, but aesthetics is looked for in both of them. Some paintings may detect the nature of mathematics, some may demonstrate mathematical concepts from different angles. The way canvas division of a painting is mathematics. Whatever is included and whatever is not included may be due to mathematical reasons. To mathematize what can be seen with eyes, looking for fractals in the brush strokes, open and closed sets, representations that include the golden ratio due to aesthetic reasons, having some rules of point, line and, plane used, to capture small dimensions via big dimensions, to demonstrate time, to show the different perspectives in a room at the same time, to paint chaos, to use points under some meaningful series, to investigate the mathematical concepts inside a paint maybe the intersecting points of mathematics and painting. In this article, by giving specific examples from different painters, mathematics inside the painting and mathematical ideas in the painting are tried to be analyzed by a review. Specifically, people who want to benefit from painting culture in mathematics education and who want to investigate the mathematics of painting can be benefited from this research as a deep source of knowledge.
