Balıkesir Health Sciences Journal adopts the publishing principles determined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE©) and expects the authors to comply with these in the studies they submit to the journal. Studies that violate these rules cannot be published in the journal. However, during article submission, authors are requested to fill out the conflict of interest form prepared by ICMJE.

Balıkesir Health Sciences Journal has adopted the Open Access policy, and submission of articles to the journal, publication of articles and access to articles are free of charge. However, the journal archive is open to all and access to the archive does not require any membership. Works published in the journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC). No publication evaluation fee, publication fee or any other fee is charged for the publications submitted to our journal.
Scientific and Legal Responsibility of the Authors and Sharing
In order for the articles to be published in the journal, they must not have been previously published/sent for publication in another journal and a positive report must be given by the referees.
Any legal and ethical responsibility that may arise from the articles/authors sent to Balıkesir Health Sciences Journal belongs to the author or authors, even if the article in question has been published.
Authors and readers can use some or all of the information of their articles and download full-text pdfs, provided that they remain faithful to the original and make references without any commercial purpose.
· The author retains the copyright of the work and gives the first publication right to the journal. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC-BY-NC) license, which allows it to be shared by others, provided that the author is indicated and that it was first published in this journal.
Authors can send the published version of their article to an institutional archive or library by citing the journal in which the article was published.
