After graduating from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Hacettepe University, I worked on bioprocesses based on Environmental Biotechnology during my master's and doctoral studies at the Department of Bioengineering at Ege University. Focusing on the transformations of organic waste, I completed my master's thesis on biogas production from chicken waste and my doctoral thesis on biohydrogen production from sugar industry waste in two-stage hybrid systems. After my PhD, I worked on the production of bioethanol and acids through syngas fermentation. Since 2022, I have been working in the Department of Industrial Engineering at İzmir Democracy University, and in recent years, I have focused on studies in the fields of circular economy, life cycle analysis, and sustainability.
