International Journal of Physical Education Sport and Technologies

The policy of the journal is to share the results of experimental researches in the field of sports science with the reader, to reveal the problems by using descriptive and other methods, to share the original research and/or review articles.

JIPEST is a refereed electronic journal that is published three times per year and has started its publication in 2020. The language of the journal is Turkish and English. The journal publishes original research and review articles in every field of sports sciences. It publishes letter to the editor, case reports and book reviews along with the original researches.

There is no compulsory template for the manuscripts to be submitted. The style of the articles to be published will be formatted by the journal management. However, the authors should pay attention to the following issues and prepare their manuscripts in accordance with these details.

1. The manuscript should be prepared in the Microsoft Word program and the file submitted should have the extension .doc or .docx.

2. Tables, figures, graphics, and diagrams in the manuscript should be located where they are intended to appear in the manuscript and should not be sent as separate files.

3. High-resolution images should be used when an image is transferred from external sources into Word text. (The authors will be informed if the image(s) is/are in inappropriate resolution, size or colors.)

4. The name, surname, title, institution, address, phone number, e-mail address, ORCID number of all authors should be included on the cover page of the text (authors without ORCID numbers can obtain this number from www.orcid.org).

5. In studies with two or more authors, the corresponding author should be clearly shown on the cover page.

6. The font size should be 12 and the page layout may be in standard Microsoft Word blank page.

7. APA 7 style should be used when the references section is formed. For reference samples, CLICK HERE.

8. Numbered citation style should NOT be used within the manuscript.

10. The prepared texts should not include author information or details that may reveal the author's identity.

International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Technologies (BEST) is a refereed journal published twice a year. This journal; It provides publication services with the principle of online and open access to the content in order to provide scientific research to its stakeholders free of charge and to contribute to the global sharing of knowledge. The names and e-mail addresses on this journal website will be used only for the stated purposes of this journal and in accordance with the design of the journal. It will not be used for any other purpose other than providing academic and scientific communication between the author and the stakeholders.

International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Technologies (BEST) accepts articles only online (with Dergipark infrastructure).

The articles reaching the Journal Editorial Board are first examined by the relevant editors in terms of content, presentation, spelling rules, etc. The articles that pass the editorial review are then sent to two referees related to the subject anonymously for evaluation. In line with the opinions of the referees, it may be decided whether the article will be published directly or after minor/major corrections or rejected. If necessary, it may be sent to a third or more referees for evaluation. If necessary, original data may be requested, and the researcher(s) are obliged to provide this data. The results obtained from the referees' evaluations are reported to the responsible author. Articles that require correction must be uploaded to the system via the dergipark system within the time period specified in the system to ensure the progress of the process. Articles that are not returned within the specified time period are kept waiting for the evaluation of the editors and the editorial board to be re-evaluated in the next issues.

The author(s) of the studies sent for publication in the International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Technologies (BEST) agree that their studies are original, have not been sent to another journal for publication, have not been published before, have complied with the principles recommended in the Declaration of Helsinki for human and animal studies, and that if the study is accepted for publication, they agree to grant the publication rights of the study to the International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Technologies (BEST).
Each author who sends their work to our journal and whose names appear in the study accepts that they have prepared a publication in accordance with the ethical rules within the framework of the "ÜNİVERSİTELERARASI KURUL BİLİMSEL ARAŞTIRMA VE YAYIN ETİĞİ YÖNERGESİ", "COPE", and acts accordingly.
