Abstract
Along with the rapid development of information and communication technology, more and more mobile commerce applications become available. The aim of this tudy is to investigate the use and acceptance of The Mobile Information System of Sakarya University which is a comprehensive information techynology and developed by Sakarya University. Data were obtained from both Sakarya University students and university staff via preparing a survey based on the “Mobile Services Acceptance Model.” The results of this study revealed that, while ease of use, content and trust are important factors for intention to use; personel charecteristics and perceived ease of use have not a meaningful effect

Abstract
Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan hızlı gelişmeler, gün geçtikçe daha fazla mobil uygulamanın kullanılmasına olanak sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kapsamlı bir mobil bilişim uygulaması olan ve Sakarya Üniversitesi tarafından geliştirilen Sakarya Üniversitesi Mobil Bilgi Sistemi (SABİS) uygulamasının kullanımı ve kabulünün araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Veriler, Sakarya Üniversitesi öğrencilerine ve personeline uygulanan anketler yoluyla elde edilmiş olup, anketin hazırlanmasında “Mobil Hizmetler Kabul Modeli” temel alınmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonuçlarına göre kişilerin mobil uygulamayı kullanma niyeti üzerinde kullanım kolaylığı, içerik ve güven faktörlerinin istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu ancak; kişisel özellikler ile algılanan fayda değişkenlerinin kullanma niyeti üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.
