Information for Authors

This page has been prepared to inform the authors about the process from article submission.

Before submitting your article, please check that it complies with the following:

The Journal of Bucak Business Administration Faculty defends and protects freedom of expression under all circumstances. In addition, the Journal; considers all kinds of racist, sexist, discriminatory content as hate speech and uses its right to reject the articles in this content without putting it into the process.
The final version of the article must be read and approved by all article authors.
It should be accepted by the authors that the article is a novel article.
Article Writing Rules: The writing rules of our journal have been determined and are published on our journal page. The article should be prepared in accordance with these spelling rules. Click to access the template.
It is declared that the article is written in full with references and bibliography.
It is declared that the citations and bibliography in the article are made completely.
In order to comply with the rules of blind refereeing, the first page should not contain information about the author. Author information is prepared in a separate Word file, which includes the titles of the authors, university, faculty, department names and orcid numbers. Additionally, if your article was derived from a thesis or has been previously presented at a congress, conference, etc., it should be stated on this page.
It should be accepted that there is no plagiarism in the article. In our journal, the iThenticate program is used to determine the similarity rate, and studies with a plagiarism report above 20% are rejected. If plagiarism has been committed, the author(s) is accepted as responsible.

Copyright: The copyright of the article titled below belongs to the authors. However, in addition to the first publication rights, the right to publish the article in all the indexes in which it is listed, applied to, or monitored, as well as in other indexes with which these indexes have agreements, is also granted by the authors to the Journal of Bucak Business Administration Faculty at the time of publication of the relevant issue. Authors whose articles are published in the Journal of Bucak Business Administration Faculty retain the rights to reuse, republish, archive, and distribute their work. The journal/publisher is not responsible for any subsequent uses of the work. Authors will allow the publisher to archive their articles in databases and indexes.

The author(s) undertake the following:

a) The submitted article is the original work of the author(s) and does not involve plagiarism,
b) All authors have individually contributed to this work and accept full responsibility for it,
c) All authors have seen and approved the final version of the submitted article,
d) The article has not been published elsewhere and has not been submitted for publication,
e) The authors have not previously published or partially published the abstract or full version of the article, or if it has been presented/published in scientific meetings or derived from a thesis, they have informed the journal about this,
f) The text, figures, and documents in the article do not infringe on the copyrights of others.

The author(s) who will send a study to the Journal of Bucak Business Administration Faculty fills in and signs the "Copyright Transfer Form" online during the application process.

Articles that do not meet the following criteria will not be evaluated:

- The case that the submitted article is not within the scope of the journal's topics.
- The submitted article is not novel and its contribution to the relevant field is low.
- The case that theoretical/review articles that are not based on fieldwork do not have an original research problem and do not develop a solution for this problem.
- The case that the submitted article does not comply with the journal writing rules/spelling template.

Author's Responsibilities

• The authors undertake that the articles they will send have not been published before, included in the publication program or have not entered the evaluation stage for publication in another medium.
• The authors have to comply with the license and copyright transfer contract they sign.
• The authors are responsible for the fact that the ideas and expressions in the works submitted for publication are not used in other previously published works. If these ideas and expressions have been used before, they should be cited where appropriate. Otherwise, the authors are obliged to correct the conflicting parts at the request of the editor or, if the article has been published, to do their part to publish a new correction.
• Researchers must comply with the publication requirements, such as the submitted work being novel and free of plagiarism.
• Authors must be accountable for validity and ethics for each part of the work.
• Inclusion of only active contributors among the authors in the study, not including non-active contributors, author ranking reflecting the contribution of individuals to the study and reporting, appropriate justification for author ranking or any request for change in author ranking while the evaluation process for the article is ongoing, author's is responsible. The author should be able to explain all these issues, if deemed necessary by the journal editor.
• Co-published authors should take joint responsibility for submitted and published work.
• If authors detect errors or inaccuracies after publication of their article, they should immediately notify the journal editor so that appropriate action can be taken.
• Reported research should be prepared in accordance with ethical rules, awareness of responsibility and all relevant legislation.
• The results of the study should be presented openly and honestly, without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation.
• Researchers should try to present the methods they used in their studies in a clear and unambiguous manner. Thus, research findings can be confirmed by other researchers.
• If there are financial sources used in the study or if the study is supported by a certain project, this should be stated in the study by the author.

Article submission process
In the DergiPark system, the article submission phase is carried out as follows.
The article submission process has 6 stages.

Article submission processes are started by using the Submit Article button on the journal page.

1. Overview

It is declared that the article has not been sent to another journal for evaluation at the same time.
The article type (research article, case report, review, translation, short paper, image presentation, technical note, thesis summary, conference paper, letter to the editor, book review, revision, editorial, biography, bibliography, news, report, other) is selected.
In the Topics section, the subject under which your article should be classified is preferred.
The primary language is chosen as Turkish or English.
The Title, Keywords and Abstract sections of your article are filled in both in Turkish and English.
The article bibliography is entered with one line space. Bibliography writing rules are available in the journal panel.

2. Authors

The person submitted the article is automatically added as the lead author.
Other authors must also be added. The e-mail address is used when adding other authors. If the e-mail you will add is registered in the system, the author screen will open for you. If it is not registered, a confirmation notification will be sent to the e-mail address you add and the article will be sent to the journal when the author accepts it.
* It is mandatory to enter the ORCID number of the authors.

3. Files

The article files must be uploaded in this step.
It is mandatory to upload the full text, author information, copyright form and ethics committee report (or declaration form stating that ethics committee permission is not required).
You can upload your additional files by clicking the "Upload Attachment File" button.
The file size should not exceed 100 MB.

4. Additional Information

If any, the supporting institution, project number and acknowledgment letter are added in this section.
Authors can make a referee proposal by stating the reason for the proposal with their discretion.

5. Preview

You can check the information you have given about your article in this section.
If you see an error in the information you have given, you can correct it with the help of the previous step option.
It should be accepted that the submission of the article has been approved by all article authors, your article has been written by paying attention to the journal writing rules, there is no information about the author on the first page of your article, and the author information is uploaded to the system as an attachment on a separate page.
If requested, a note can be added to the editor. If your article was derived from a thesis or has been previously presented at a congress, conference, etc. If submitted, it can be stated in the note to the editor.
When you are sure that your article complies with the journal's rules and in the way you want, the 'Submit' option is clicked and the article is entered into the journal system and the process is started.

6. Article Processing

The processing of the article works as follows:
The publication evaluation process of the submitted studies is completed in approximately 3 months.
The articles sent to the Journal of Bucak Business Administration Faculty, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University are examined in a three-stage process: "Preliminary Review", "Evaluation" and "Editing". These processes are planned and implemented by the editorial board.
