iThenticate software report file must be uploaded for each article. Articles with an iThenticate similarity report result above 30% are rejected.

Bingöl University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences adopts the following rules in determining the similarity rate:

- Articles with a general similarity rate of over 30% are sent back to the author without starting the referee process. In this case, the authors can edit and resubmit the article within 4 weeks.
- The similarity rate from a single source should be less than 3%.

In addition, regardless of the similarity rate, if there is any statement and/or similarity in blocks that is used from a source without referring to the relevant source, the study will be sent back to the author without any further evaluation.

The above mentioned rules are assumed to be accepted by all authors who apply for the publication.
