Bartın University Journal of Faculty of Letters is an open-access scholarly journal that publishes original research articles and book reviews in Turkish and English within an interdisciplinary framework. The journal covers the fields of Archaeology, Information and Records Management, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Philosophy, English Translation and Interpreting, English Language and Literature, Psychology, Art History, Sociology, History, and Turkish Language and Literature. It is an international, independent, and impartial academic journal that operates in accordance with the principles of double-blind peer review.

Published electronically since 2016, the journal releases two issues per year on a semiannual basis, in June and December, and adopts the principle of open access. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not be under consideration by any other publication venue. Scholarly works that comply with the journal’s publication policies and author guidelines and are accepted for evaluation are subjected to similarity/plagiarism screening.
