HAYMANA (GB ANKARA) GÜNEYİNDEKİ TORTUL İSTİFİN SEDİMENTER PETROLOJİK İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Haymana güneyindeki
tortul istifte ayırtlanmış yedi litostratigrafik birim kayaçlarından seçilmiş
110 örnekte yapılmış mineralojik, petrografik ve kil minerali analizlerinin
sonucunu kapsamaktadır. İncelenmiş örneklerin büyük bir kısmı tane akımı ve
türbid akım ürünü grovaklardan, bir bölümü de kalkarenitler ile beş alt
fasiyese ayrılmış resifal kireçtaşlarından oluşmaktadır. Türbidit kumtaşları
mineralojik açıdan genellikle olgun değildir veya yarı olgundur ve çok kökenli
klastik bileşenlerden oluşmuşlardır. İnceleme bölgesi kumtaşlarına uygulanmış
ayrıntılı hafif ve ağır mineral analizleri ile kil minerali çözümlemelerinin
sonuçları, bölge arenitleri arasında belirgin petrografik farklılık olmadığını
ortaya koymuştur. Bu sonuç, metinde ayrıntılarına inilmemiş saha gözlemleri ile
birleştirilince, kumtaşları klastik materyelinin farklı devirlerde fakat
çeşitli tiplerdeki litolojilerden oluşmuş bir kaynak bölge ve/veya provenanstan
türediği varsayımını ortaya koymuştur.
