Journal of Information Management  is the publication organ of Ankara University Information Management Systems Certification and Information Security Center (BIL-BEM).  

The journal is published electronically twice a year. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, it publishes peer-review articles, review studies, evaluation papers, and news items in Turkish and English, primarily in the fields of information management, records management and archival management.

The journal consists of the following sections: “Peer-Reviewed Articles,” “Review Studies,” and “Advertisement - Evaluation and News.”

  • Peer-Reviewed Articles: Articles in this section undergo scientific evaluation through a double-blind peer review process conducted by the Review Board.
  • Review Studies: This section includes non-refereed articles that pass through the editorial process, such as applied studies, research reports, case presentations, technical notes, biographical studies, analyses of laws and decisions, book critiques, and standards reviews.
  • Advertisement - Evaluation and News: This section features book introductions, evaluations, and news related to scientific and cultural events.
