Abstract

This article focuses on examining Turkey from a sociological perspective regarding labor and worker movements. The changes that the working class has undergone throughout Turkey’s history, transformations in the economic structure, and social factors necessitate a comprehensive analysis within the context of labor sociology. The research delves into fundamental concepts and theoretical frameworks to comprehend the evolution of labor and worker movements in Turkey. By scrutinizing the historical changes within the working class, unionization processes, and the sociological dimensions of strikes and collective struggles, the study evaluates the social and economic impacts of these movements. Furthermore, the article explores the repercussions of contemporary issues such as globalization, technological advancements, and economic policies on labor movements in Turkey. It discusses the interplay of global and local factors on the experiences of the working class and offers insights into the future of labor movements in Turkey. This text aspires to contribute to the significant studies conducted in the field of the sociology of work in Turkey, aiming to establish a foundation for future research by providing a profound understanding of Turkey’s labor and worker movements.

Türkiye’de Emek ve İşçi Hareketlerinin Sosyolojik Değişimi: Çalışma Sosyolojisi Bağlamında Kuramsal ve Güncel Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu makalede, Türkiye’nin emek ve işçi hareketleri açısından sosyolojik bir perspektiften incelenmesine odaklanmaktadır. Türkiye’nin tarihinde işçi sınıfının maruz kaldığı değişiklikler, ekonomik yapıdaki dönüşümler ve sosyal faktörler, çalışma sosyolojisi bağlamında kapsamlı bir analiz gerektirmektedir. Bu araştırma, Türkiye’deki emek ve işçi hareketlerinin dönüşümünü anlamak amacıyla temel kavramları ve teorik çerçeveleri ele almaktadır. İşçi sınıfının tarih boyunca geçirdiği değişimler, sendikalaşma süreçleri, grev ve toplu mücadelelerin sosyolojik boyutları incelenerek, bu hareketlerin toplumsal ve ekonomik etkileri değerlendirilmektedir. Ayrıca, küreselleşme, teknolojik ilerlemeler ve ekonomik politikalar gibi çağdaş konuların Türkiye’deki işçi hareketleri üzerindeki etkileri de ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, küresel ve yerel faktörlerin işçi sınıfının deneyimleri üzerindeki etkileşimi ve Türkiye’deki emek hareketlerinin geleceğine yönelik öngörüler de tartışılmaktadır. Bu metin Türkiye’de çalışma sosyolojisi alanında yapılan önemli çalışmalara katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Türkiye’nin emek ve işçi hareketleri üzerine derinlemesine bir anlayış sunarak, gelecekteki araştırmalar için bir temel oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir.
