Dr. Ferhat Koca was born in Sivas. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Sivas. He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sakarya University, master's degree in energy from Sakarya University and PhD degree in energy from Sivas Cumhuriyet University. Koca, who worked as an R&D and production engineer in his field between 2011-2014, started his academic career as a research assistant at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in 2014. He has been involved in academic activities at various universities and took part in joint projects at Çukurova University, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University and Sakarya University. He worked as an executive and researcher in various projects. Koca, who has many published scientific studies in his field, is interested in energy, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, heating and cooling systems, computational fluid mechanics (CFD), design, analysis and simulation, nanofluids, particle imaging technique (PIV), optimisation, aerodynamics.
İlker Temizer was born in Elazığ. He graduated from Fırat University in 2008 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Temizer, who has conducted research in the field of Automotive Engineering, has many scientific studies at the international level.

Prof. Dr. Mutlu Tarık Çakır is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sivas University of Science and Technology. He has served as the Head of the Division of Thermodynamics and Energy as well as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He has conducted extensive academic studies in the areas of heat transfer, evaporation/condensation, cooling technologies, and energy systems. His research focuses on applied energy topics such as microchannel cooling systems, waste heat recovery, and thermal management. He has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, led research projects, and provided project consultancy. Additionally, he has participated as a principal investigator or team member in both institutional and national research projects.
Yasin Varol is a Professor at the Automotive Engineering of Technology Faculty of Firat University. He received his BS degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, in 1989. He received his Ph.D. degree from Cukurova University in 1996. He worked as a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, USA, for three years. His main research area is Intelligent Energy Systems, Battery Thermal Management Systems, Cooling of Electronic Systems, Internal Combustion Engines, Combustion Analysis, Spray Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD), Thermal Energy Storage, Microscale Heat Transfer, Mixed and Natural Convection Through Duct or Cavities. He has nearly 250 scientific publications, more than 100 of which are in SCI journals.

Resul Daş is a full Professor in the Department of Software Engineering at Firat University, Turkey. He is currently a Visiting Professor and Researcher in the Department of Cyber Security and System Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University, UK, under the prestigious TUBITAK 2219 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from Firat University in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2008. From 2017 to 2018, he conducted research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta, Canada. Between 2000 and 2011, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Informatics while concurrently working as a network and system administrator at the University's IT Center. Since 2002, he has been a certified instructor in the Cisco Networking Academy Program, delivering CCNA and CCNP courses.
Prof. Daş has held significant leadership roles, including Head of the Software Engineering Department (2020–2023). He is a member of the Türk Telekom Network Science Board and has served as an Academic Consultant for prominent technology firms such as Logo, Netaş, Türk Telekom, and DGH Software on major TUBITAK and Ministry of Industry-supported R&D projects.
Prof. Daş is globally recognized for his academic excellence, having been consistently listed among the "World’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists" by Stanford University for seven consecutive years (2019–2025). According to Google Scholar, he holds an h-index of 31 with over 6,100 citations. He serves as an Associate Editor for several prestigious journals, including Internet of Things (Elsevier), Alexandria Engineering Journal (Elsevier), Telematics and Informatics Reports (Elsevier), IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society (OJ-COMS), and the International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing (Inderscience). To date, he has successfully supervised 8 Ph.D. and 10 M.Sc. graduates. His primary research interests include computer networks, cybersecurity, AI-based IoT and systems engineering, graph data science and visualization, and software quality assurance and testing.

Dr. Burak Dokmetas completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at İnönü University and received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Gazi University. During his doctoral research, he specialized in antenna design, electromagnetic fields, and RF/microwave systems, developing expertise in both numerical modeling and experimental antenna characterization.
Dr. Dokmetas is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kafkas University. His research primarily focuses on next-generation electromagnetic applications, including 3D-printed dielectric antenna structures, low-loss PREPERM-based materials, PIFA and microstrip antenna designs, WiFi-based backscatter communication, passive and semi-passive IoT systems, X/Ku-band dielectric-loaded antennas, antenna optimization using HBMO and other heuristic algorithms, and origami-inspired foldable antenna geometries.

Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Cenker Aktemur, Kocaeli Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı’nda tamamladığı doktora çalışmasının ardından 2024 yılından itibaren Sivas Bilim ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Araştırmaları; soğutma ve ısıtma sistemleri, enerji–ekserji analizleri, güneş enerjisi uygulamaları, enerji depolama, termal yalıtım, termoekonomik değerlendirme ve optimizasyon alanlarında yoğunlaşmaktadır. SCIE kapsamındaki dergilerde çok sayıda makalesi yayımlanan Dr. Aktemur’un çalışmaları özellikle kaskad soğutma sistemlerinin iyileştirilmesi, nano-akışkanlı soğutma teknolojileri, yenilenebilir enerji destekli sistem tasarımları ve çok kriterli 3E–4E performans analizleri üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Ayrıca çeşitli ulusal ve uluslararası kongrelerde bildiriler sunmuş, kitap bölümleri yazmış ve birçok saygın dergide hakemlik görevleri üstlenmiştir.

Emre Ünsal is a faculty member in the Department of Software Engineering at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. His research primarily focuses on wireless sensor networks, energy efficiency, the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, deep learning, time series analysis, and missing data imputation. His studies contribute to the literature and receive citations particularly in areas such as IoT-based data processing, environmental monitoring systems, and decision-support applications in smart sensor networks. He has served as a researcher and project leader in TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and university-funded projects involving IoT-based biomedical monitoring, LoRaWAN-based energy analysis, image processing, and AI-driven data analytics. Ünsal continues his academic work with an interdisciplinary perspective and supervises graduate students in the application of artificial intelligence techniques to engineering problems, data-driven modeling, and intelligent system design, while also serving as a reviewer for international journals.
