EMEKLİLİK DÖNEMİ DOYUMUNUN YORDAYICISI OLARAK YAŞAM DOYUMU, EVLİLİK DOYUMU VE SOSYAL DESTEK

Abstract

Bu çalışma yaşam doyumu, evlilik doyumu, sosyal destek ve emeklilik doyumu arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı yaşam doyumu, evlilik doyumu, sosyal destek ve emekli olma nedenleri gibi değişkenlerin emeklilik doyumuna etkisi olup olmadığını araştırmaktır. Bu çalışmaya Türkiye’nin 60 farklı şehrinden 652’si kadın ve 680’i erkek olmak üzere 1332 emekli kişi katılmıştır. Emeklilik doyum envanteri, yaşam doyumu ölçeği, çift uyum ölçeği ve sosyal destek ölçeği veri toplamak için kullanılmıştır. Yapılan adım adım regresyon analizi (stepwise regression analyze) yaşam doyumu, evlilik doyumu ve sosyal desteğin emeklilik doyumunu % 34 oranında yordadığını ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, yapılan ANOVA ve Scheffe analizleri hobilerini ve ilgilerini gerçekleştirmek için emekli olanların mevcut şartlar, stres veya işverenin baskısı nedeniyle emekli olanlara kıyasla daha kolay uyum sağladıklarını ve emeklilik doyumlarının daha yüksek olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Çalışma sonuçları alanda çalışan araştırmacılar, aile danışmanları ve psikolojik danışmanlar açısından önem arz etmektedir.
