The articles submitted to the Journal of Contemporary Administrative Sciences should be in accordance with Research and Publication Ethics.
In accordance with the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Research and Publication Ethics Directive;
(1) Actions that are contrary to the ethics of scientific research and publication are as follows:
a) Plagiarism: Making other people's original ideas, methods, data or works look like their own work in whole or in part without attribution in accordance with scientific rules,
b) Forgery: Using data that does not actually exist or falsified in scientific research,
c) Distortion: Falsifying research records or obtained data, making devices or materials that were not used in the research appear to have been used, falsifying or shaping research results in accordance with the interests of supported persons and organizations,
ç) Re-publication: Presenting repeated publications as separate publications for academic appointments and promotions,
d) Slicing: To present the results of a research as separate publications in academic appointments and promotions, by dissecting the results of a research in a way that violates the integrity of the research, and publishing it in more than one issue,
e) Unfair authorship: Including people who do not have active contributions among the authors or not including those who do, changing the order of authors in an unjustified and inappropriate way, removing the names of those who contributed actively from the work in subsequent editions, using his influence to include his name among the authors,
(2) Other types of ethical violations are:
a) Not to indicate the supporting persons, institutions or organizations and their contributions in the publications made as a result of the researches carried out with the support,
b) To use theses or studies that have not yet been submitted or defended and accepted as a source without the permission of the owner,
c) Not to comply with the ethical rules in research conducted on humans and animals, not to respect the rights of patients in their publications,
ç) To act contrary to the provisions of the relevant legislation in biomedical research and other clinical research related to humans,
d) To share the information contained in a work that he has been assigned to study with others before publication without the explicit permission of the author,
e) To misuse the resources, places, facilities and devices provided or allocated for scientific research,
f) To allege baseless, unwarranted and intentional ethical violations,
g) To publish the data obtained without the express consent of the participants in surveys and attitude studies conducted within the scope of a scientific study or, if the research will be conducted in an institution, without the permission of the institution,
h) Harming animal health and ecological balance in research and experiments,
ı) Not to obtain written permissions from the authorized units before starting the studies in research and experiments.
i) To carry out studies in research and experiments contrary to the provisions of the legislation or the international conventions to which Turkey is a party, regarding the relevant research and experiments.
j) Failure to comply with the obligation of researchers and authorities to inform and warn those concerned about possible harmful practices related to scientific research,
k) Not to use the data and information obtained from other persons and institutions in scientific studies, to the extent and in the manner permitted, not to comply with the confidentiality of this information and not to ensure its protection,
l) Making false or misleading statements regarding scientific research and publications in academic appointments and promotions.
In order for the applied article to be evaluated, it must be written according to the journal's writing rules, the full text must not contain the author's information, it must be written according to the article template, the similarity report must be uploaded, and the copyright transfer form must be signed and uploaded. The articles accepted for publication after the evaluation process has been completed should be corrected by the author(s) and uploaded to the journal website again by adding author information. Information about the researches that require the permission of the Ethics Committee can be accessed from the Ethical Principles and Publication Policy page. For studies that do not require Ethics Committee Permission, the Study Declaration Form that does not Require Ethics Committee Permission should be filled out and uploaded to the system and stated in the article.
