Aim

Dergiabant is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year as May and November. The journal publishes original research articles, translations and book reviews on religious sciences, philosophy, logic, history, language, literature and fine arts, provided that they are related to the field of theology. Dergiabant aims to contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in the field of theology by publishing studies with scientific qualifications at national and international level.

Articles submitted to the journal for publication are reviewed by the field editors in terms of purpose, scope, content, method, academic style, and by the assistant editors responsible for compliance with language and spelling rules. The eligible articles are subject to double-blind peer-review evaluation by at least two referees. In addition, it is confirmed that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism, through a special program used in plagiarism detection.

Authors are obliged to take into account editorial warnings and referee reports. The scientific and legal responsibility of the published articles belongs to the authors. The editorial board is free to publish or not to publish the submitted article. All rights of the published articles belong to Dergiabant. No royalties are paid for published articles. Articles published in the journal cannot be quoted without citing the source. The publication language of the journal is Turkish; however, articles written in English and Arabic are accepted with abstracts written in the relevant language and in Turkish.

Scope
Dergiabant publishes original and comparative studies (Islam, religion, science, history, history of religions, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, education and literature) in the fields of Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Sciences, Islamic History and Arts.
