Aim & Scope

Publication Content
The Diyanet İlmi Dergi publishes original scientific articles aligned with the goal and publication policy of the Presidency of Religious Affairs to educate society about religion. All articles published, excluding editorials, undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. If an editor submits an article, it will be handled impartially and subjected to the same double-blind peer review process as other submissions.

Purpose and Scope
The journal aims to enhance scientific discourse by publishing high-quality papers of significant scientific merit. To achieve this goal, the journal publishes original research articles, reviews, and case reports covering various fields within the humanities and social sciences. Diyanet İlmi Dergi is an independent, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access online journal committed to publishing articles across various fields within the humanities. Manuscripts should contain original data that have not been published or submitted elsewhere for publication. Manuscripts that adhere to the submission guidelines of the Diyanet İlmi Dergi and fall within the journal's scope are sent to at least two expert reviewers for scientific evaluation. The members of the Diyanet İlmi Dergi Review Commission evaluate the suitability of each submission and consider the feedback provided by the reviewers on each submission. The Editorial Board makes the final decision on all submitted manuscripts. The Editorial Board of the Diyanet İlmi Dergi adheres to the criteria set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Submissions
Submitted articles should align with the purpose and scope of the journal. Original, unpublished manuscripts that are not currently under evaluation in another journal and whose content and submission have been approved by all authors are eligible for evaluation.

Readership
The target audience comprises professionals, experts, researchers, specialists, and doctoral students across all fields of humanities, as well as theology students with an interest in this field. It aims to contribute to the dissemination of continuous professional development and research culture.

Charges and Fees
The publication of articles in the journal and the execution of article processes are not subject to any fees. No processing or submission fee is charged under any name for articles submitted to the journal or approved for publication. The Diyanet İlmi Dergi does not accept sponsorship and advertisements in accordance with its publication policies. All expenses of The Diyanet İlmi Dergi are financed by the General Directorate of Religious Publications of the Presidency of Religious Affairs.

Copyrights
The licensee cannot revoke these freedoms (specified rights) as long as the terms of the license are adhered.
The following are permissible:
1) Sharing: You are permitted to copy and redistribute the work in any media or format.
2) Adaptation: You may mix, transfer, and build upon existing work.
Under the following conditions:

Originality of Articles
The Diyanet İlmi Dergi does not consider works that have been previously published elsewhere. Nevertheless, published articles in a foreign language may occasionally be considered for processing.
