Dil Araştırmaları [Language Researches] aims to publish original research, reviews, compilations, reports and textual studies in all subfields and areas of historical and contemporary linguistics, with special emphasis on the phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicology and etymology of the Turkic languages. In addition, Dil Araştırmaları [Language Researches] also covers studies related to various aspects of linguistics that are shaped by different disciplines, such as sociolinguistics, computational linguistics, psycholinguistics, anthropological linguistics, forensic linguistics, etc., as well as typological and regional studies. With special attention to Turkic linguistics, the journal also aims to bring together scholars interested in other interdisciplinary studies.

Dil Araştırmaları [Language Researches], which accepts high-quality studies on all aspects of Turkic languages and linguistics, whether theoretical or descriptive, publishes studies written exclusively in Turkish or English. In addition, eligible translations from various languages into Turkish may also be published in the journal.
