TÜRKÇEDE NESNELİ GEÇİŞSİZ VE ÖZNELİ GEÇİŞSİZ EYLEMLERİN BİLİŞEL İŞLEMLENME SÜRECİ: ÖZ İLERLEMELİ OKUMA ÇALIŞMASI

TÜRKÇEDE NESNELİ GEÇİŞSİZ VE ÖZNELİ GEÇİŞSİZ EYLEMLERİN BİLİŞEL İŞLEMLENME SÜRECİ: ÖZ İLERLEMELİ OKUMA ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkçedeki Nesneli Geçişsiz ve Özneli Geçişsiz eylemlerin bilişsel işlemleme süreçlerinin Öz ilerlemeli Okuma yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada Nesneli Geçişsiz, Özneli Geçişsiz ve Geçişli eylem tiplerinin işlemlenme ve edilgenleşme süreçlerinin yanında Nesneli Geçişsizlerde öznenin +/- canlı olmasının işlemleme sürecinde fark yaratıp yaratmadığını belirlemektir. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, Nesneli Geçişsizler, Özneli Geçişsiz ve Geçişlilerle karşılaştırıldığında daha fazla işlemleme yükü oluşturmaktadır. Özneli Geçişsiz ve Geçişli eylemlerin işlemlenme süreçleri ise benzerlik göstermiştir. Eylem tiplerinin edilgenleşme süreçlerine odaklanıldığında, katılımcılar [-canlı] özneli Nesneli Geçişsiz Eylemlerin Edilgen biçimini Özneli Geçişsiz eylemlerin edilgen biçimlerinden daha uzun sürede işlemlemişken, [+canlı] özneli Nesneli Geçişsiz eylemlerin edilgen biçimlerini Özneli Geçişsiz ve Geçişli eylemlerle benzer biçimde işlemlemişlerdir. Nesneli Geçişsiz eylemin öznesinin canlılığı ile ilgili yapılan analizlerde Nesneli Geçişsiz eylemlerde öznenin canlılığının işlemleme süresine etki etmediği görülmüştür. Sonuçlar Nesneli Geçişsiz eylemlerin öznelerinin nesne konumunda üretilip özne konumuna taşındığını ve edilgenleşmesinin mümkün olmadığını iddia eden Perlmutter’in (1978) Geçişsizlik Hipotezini doğrulamaktadır.
