‘The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages’, approved by the European Council, is a study that is accepted by member countries and in the process of being adopted to member countries' education systems. It is essential that Turkey, being a member of the European Council, should prepare her education programmes and tests for the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language to reach these criteria. The study group that was formed to this end has carried out studies for the purposes of developing education programme and making changes in the domain of assessment
Ankara Üniversitesi TÖMERde oluşturulan bir çalışma grubu, TÖMER Türkçe öğretimi eğitim programlarını ve sınavlarını, Avrupa Konseyi’nin onayladığı ‘Yabancı dil öğretimi ortak ölçütleri’ne uygun hale getirmiştir.
