COMPARATIVE BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF MOBBING IN GLOBAL AND NATIONAL STUDIES

Abstract

This study is a qualified literature review focusing on the bibliometric analysis of academic publications on mobbing. The aim of the study is to reveal the general trends, prominent actors and thematic densities in the literature by comparatively analysing mobbing-focused scientific publications in national (DergiPark) and International (Scopus, Web of Science) databases. Publications from 2014 to 2024 were evaluated using bibliometrics methods, including descriptive statistics, citation analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, and geographical distribution. Author collaboration networks, keyword clusters, and country-level productivity were analyzed using VOSviewer software. The study highlights the most citied articles, leading countries and institutions, and the distribution of keywords within the mobbing literature. In addition, the bibliometric network map of the publications on mobbing in the WOS database was analysed in detail. The findings show which topics and approaches are prominent in the mobbing literature and provide a comprehensive perspective on research trends in the field. The results of this study provide a road map for future research on mobbing and reveal which aspects of the literature in this field are concentrated and which gaps exist.

KÜRESEL VE ULUSAL ÇALIŞMALARDA MOBBİNG KAVRAMININ BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZLE KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışma, mobbing konusundaki akademik yayınların bibliyometrik analizine odaklanan nitelikli bir literatür taramasıdır. Araştırmanın amacı, ulusal (DergiPark) ve küresel (Scopus, Web of Science) veri tabanlarında yer alan mobbing odaklı bilimsel yayınları karşılaştırmalı olarak inceleyerek literatürdeki genel eğilimleri, öne çıkan aktörleri ve tematik yoğunlukları ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda 2014-2024 yılları arasında yayımlanan yayınlar betimsel istatistik, atıf analizi, anahtar kelime eş frekans analizi ve coğrafi dağılım gibi bibliyometrik yöntemlerle değerlendirilmiştir. Yazarlar arası iş birliği ağları, anahtar kelime kümelenmeleri ve ülke bazlı üretkenlik analizleri VOSviewer yazılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, mobbing literatüründe en fazla atıf alan yayınlar, öne çıkan ülkeler ve araştırmacılar ile anahtar kelimelere dayalı tematik dağılımlar birlikte analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca, WOS veri tabanında mobbing konusundaki yayınların yazarlar arası bibliyometrik ağ haritası da detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, mobbing literatüründe hangi konuların ve yaklaşımların öne çıktığını gösterirken, alandaki araştırma eğilimlerine dair kapsamlı bir perspektif sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, mobbing üzerine yapılacak gelecekteki araştırmalar için bir yol haritası oluşturmakta ve bu alanda literatürün hangi yönlere yoğunlaştığını ve hangi boşlukların mevcut olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
