2. Archiving Locations and Policy
Our journal has adopted a multi-channel archiving strategy to ensure the permanence of research and its accessibility to the widest possible audience. All published content is archived on the following platforms:
• Journal Website: The final and official versions of articles are permanently hosted on our journal's official website and are freely accessible.
• Institutional Repository: Articles are stored in the relevant institutional repositories of our university.
• Author's Personal Archive: Authors may share and archive the final published version of their articles on their personal websites, academic social networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.), or institutional repositories without any embargo.
3. Article Versions and Self-Archiving
DÜOD embraces the open access model and actively encourages authors to archive different stages of their work. In this context, no embargo period applies to the following article versions:
• Submitted Version: The original text submitted to the journal prior to peer review. Authors can immediately share this version on their personal websites or institutional repositories.
• Accepted Version: The version that has successfully completed the peer review process and been accepted by the journal editor, but has not yet undergone final editing and formatting. Authors can also immediately archive this version on any suitable platform.
• Published Version: The final version that has been finalized by the journal, typeset, and published in PDF format. This is the most recommended version for archiving and can be shared on all platforms mentioned above.
4. Digital Preservation and Permanent Access
All content in our journal is preserved through the LOCKSS system, which ensures the long-term preservation and archiving of digital materials. This system works in collaboration with library networks worldwide to ensure the permanence of our content and protect it against potential future technical failures.
