AVRUPA’DA FEDERALİZM GELENEĞİ VE AVRUPA BÜTÜNLEŞMESİNDE FEDERALİST AKIMLAR

Abstract

Kendi içinde tutarlı bir bütün arz etmese de, federalist yaklaşımlar Avrupa bütünleşmesinin hemen her safhasında etkili olmuştur. Bu yaklaşımların AB’nin geleceği hakkında bazı ipuçlarına işaret etmesi, federalist akımların daha yakından incelenmesini gerektirmektedir. Bu çalışma, konunun tarihsel arkaplanı ve kavramsal temelleri doğrultusunda söz konusu tartışmaları ve yaklaşımları değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır

European Tradition of Federalism and Federalist Movements in European Integration

Abstract

Although federalist approaches to the European integration do not form clear-cut ideological movements, their impact on the integration process has been felt in almost all its phases. Some of the approaches that gained ground throughout these discussions require closer examination as they might shed light on future formation of the EU. The aim of the study is to assess these approaches on the basis of the historical and the conceptual foundations of the integration process
