Open Access Policy

Tarih İncelemeleri Dergisi adopts open access policy. Open access to information benefits the humanity as it improves the global value of information. TİD also supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative that was signed on September 12, 2012. Thus, the open access policies adopted by the editorial board of TİD can be found at http://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai-10-recommendations.

All articles published in Tarih İncelemeleri Dergisi are licensed with "Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License". This license entitles all parties to copy, share and redistribute all the articles, data sets, figures and supplementary files published in this journal in data mining, search engines, web sites, blogs and other digital platforms under the condition of providing references. Open access is an approach that eases the interdisciplinary communication and encourages cooperation among different disciplines. TİD, therefore, contributes to its own field by providing more access to its articles and a more transparent review process.

Tarih İncelemeleri Dergisi recommends that libraries include the article contents into library catalogue records.

Ege University, Faculty of Letters, Department of History, publisher of Tarih İncelemeleri Dergisi, guarantees that it will not ask for any publication fees from any library or reader to access the electronic articles.

Privacy Statement

Personal information like names and e-mail addresses submitted to the Tarih İncelemeleri Dergisi journal management system will be used exclusively for this journal and scientific aims of the Ege University. Such information will not be used for other purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

Archiving

All the high level data and full texts of the articles published in TİD are stored in XML and .pdf formats in a third party cloud server that is closed to access. Moreover, all the articles are stored and published in .pdf format on ULAKBİM servers via TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM National Databases.
