Öğretmen Algılarına Göre İşyerinde Dışlama: Eğitim Kurumlarında Nitel Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı işyerinde dışlama olgusunu, bu süreci deneyimleyen öğretmenlerin görüşleri ışığında analiz etmek, bileşenlerini ortaya koymak ve olgu ile ilgili bütüncül açıklamalar yapmaktır. Araştırma nitel yaklaşımlardan fenomenolojik araştırma deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Elâzığ ilinde bulunan altı farklı türdeki lisede görev yapan 24 öğretmenin görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analiz edilmesi sonucunda işyerinde dışlama olgusunun örneklem alanında görmezden gelme, fikirlerin önemsenmemesi, gruba almama ve iletişim kurmama boyutları çerçevesinde gerçekleştiği görülmektedir. İşyerinde dışlama olgusunun öncülleri bağlamında 18 kod ve bunları kapsayan iki alt tema; olgunun sonuçları açısından 13 kod ve bunları kapsayan iki tema oluşturulmuştur. Sonuç olarak katılımcı görüşlerine göre işyerinde dışlama hem dışlamaya maruz kalanlardan hem de dışlamayı uygulayanlardan kaynaklandığına ve işyerinde dışlamanın bireysel ve örgütsel anlamda olumsuz sonuçlara neden olabildiğine yönelik veriler elde edilmiştir.
