The Eurasian Journal of Teacher Education (EJTE) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, and transparency in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are expected to comply with international, national, and institutional standards of research ethics. Authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the publication process are required to adhere to these principles.

EJTE has a Conflict of Interest (Competing Interests) Policy in place. Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research or the interpretation of its findings.

Studies involving human participants, animals, personal data, or biological materials must have been conducted in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines. Where applicable, authors are required to obtain Ethics Committee approval and informed consent, and to clearly state the name of the ethics committee, approval date, and approval number in the manuscript.

EJTE is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows COPE principles and procedures in handling allegations of research misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and unethical research practices. The journal is committed to investigating all such cases in order to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software. If plagiarism or unethical similarity is identified, editorial actions will be taken in accordance with COPE guidelines, including rejection, correction, or retraction where necessary.

All research articles published in EJTE undergo a double-anonymous peer review process to ensure objectivity, academic rigor, and fairness.

Research that requires Ethics Committee approval includes, but is not limited to:

• qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods studies that involve collecting data from participants through surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, experiments, or similar techniques;
• experimental studies conducted on humans or animals (including materials and/or data);
• retrospective studies conducted in accordance with personal data protection regulations.

Ethical declarations are required in the following cases:

• studies involving direct interaction with participants (e.g., interviews or observations) must state that informed consent was obtained;
• studies involving participants under the age of 18 must declare that informed consent was obtained from parents or legal guardians;
• the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs, or other materials developed by others requires permission from the copyright holders, which must be stated and documented upon request;
• authors must declare that copyright and intellectual property regulations were respected for all materials used in the study.

Failure to comply with EJTE’s ethical standards may result in rejection of the manuscript, correction or retraction of published articles, or notification of relevant institutions, in accordance with COPE guidelines.
