Publication Policies

Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation (ISSN 2147-8945 | e-ISSN 2667-6095) started to be published in 2013. It is published in the Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, which includes the knowledge, skills and experience of healthy individuals who have limitations in their body structure and functions due to any health problem, who have limitations in participating in the social or cultural environment they live in for various reasons, and intervention and rehabilitation approaches related to the field. studies are included.
1. Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation is a peer-reviewed and international journal published three times a year. The articles submitted for publication are evaluated by three referees using the double-blind method.
2. Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation approaches authors, readers and institutions impartially. It encourages the preservation and development of subject richness. It publishes qualified publications in terms of content, language, and originality.
3. Articles written in Turkish or English are accepted to the Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation.
4. The articles submitted for publication must not have been published anywhere or sent to any journal for publication.
5. Articles should be prepared in accordance with the spelling rules on the web page. In the Pre-Check stage, the articles that do not comply with the rules are requested to be corrected. If it is not corrected within 1 month at the latest, the application will be cancelled.
6. All articles submitted for publication in the journal are scanned with the iThenticate: Plagiarism Detection Software package program at the pre-control stage, and a similarity report is generated. For articles with a similarity rate above 20%, a correction is requested from the corresponding author. If the necessary correction is not made within 1 month at the latest, the article will be rejected.
7. Major or minor correction decision is made for the development of the articles that are not deemed sufficient in line with the referee's recommendations. Articles that do not reach the desired level and are not considered scientifically sufficient are rejected.
8. The referees' evaluation reports are sent to the authors and they must make the necessary corrections within 2 months at the latest and send them to the Editorial Board together with the correction report. In case of expiration, the article is rejected if additional time is not requested by the author.
9. The articles rejected by the majority of the referees are rejected by the editorial board upon the recommendation of the field editor.
10. All responsibility of the articles belongs to the authors. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with internationally accepted scientific ethical rules.
11. Only one article of an author can be published in one issue.
12. Upon submitting their work to the Journal of Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, authors retain the copyright of their papers without restrictions.
13. No fee is paid to the authors for the publication of the accepted article, and no fee is charged from the authors.
14. The researchers' contribution statement, conflict of interest statement and, if any, support and acknowledgement statements should be stated.
