1. For research conducted in all branches of science, including social sciences, and involving clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals that require ethical approval;
- All kinds of research conducted using qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group study, observation, experiment, and interview techniques
- The experimental or other scientific use of humans and animals (including materials/data)
- Clinical research conducted on humans
- Research conducted on animals
- Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data
must have separate ethical approval, which should be stated and documented in the article.

Information about the approval (committee name, date, and number) should be provided in the "Methods" section of the article.

During article submission, in addition to the article file, the Ethical Committee Approval file should also be uploaded to the system.

Additionally, in case reports, information about obtaining signed informed consent/permission forms should be included in the article.

2. It should be stated in the article whether legal/special permission was required. If the study encompasses an application conducted in an institution, it should clearly indicate from which institution, on what date, and with what decision or number the permission was obtained.

3. Permission must be obtained from the owners for the use of scales, surveys, photographs belonging to others, and this should be indicated in the article (with proper citation).

4. Ethical rules for Authors, Reviewers, and Editors:
Authors: Only individuals who have contributed to the relevant study should be considered as authors. Authors' contributions and conflicts of interest should be declared.
Reviewers: Reviewers should consult the Editor in case of any suspicion regarding conflicts of interest in the evaluation process.
Editors and Section Editors: The Editor or Section Editor appoints three reviewers from different institutions to evaluate the article. The names of the reviewers evaluating the articles are not disclosed to the authors (blind peer review). Also, it is ensured that the reviewers evaluate the articles without seeing the author names (double-blind peer review). The Editor or Section Editor is responsible for managing the peer review process of the articles and has the right to reject the article if any conflict of interest is detected. Until the article evaluation process is completed, the Section Editor does not allow the article or any part of it to be shared anywhere for any reason and is responsible for not sharing it.

5. Articles must include a statement indicating adherence to Research and Publication Ethics.

6. Scientific articles submitted to journals should adhere to the recommendations of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and the International Standards for Editors and Authors of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

7. Compliance with copyright regulations for used intellectual and artistic works is required.

8. In the article submission, "Contributorship of Researchers," if available, "Support" or "Acknowledgment," and "Conflict of Interest" statements should be provided.
