E TWINNING PROJE UYGULAMALARINA İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, daha önce eTwinning projeleri yürüten öğretmenlerin projeler hakkında görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma modellerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında devlet okullarInda görev yapmakta olan, eTwinning platformunda aktif, Ulusal Kalite Etiketi ya da Avrupa Kalite Etiketi ödüllerinden en az birini almış 10 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veriler, araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan öğretmenlere yönelik hazırlanmış olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenler, eTwinning projeleri ile öğrencilerin en çok dijital becerilerinin ve öğrenme motivasyonlarının arttığını belirtmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenler çeşitli şekillerde eTwinning platformu ile tanışmış olsalar da, platformda kalmalarını sağlayan en önemli motivasyonun en çok mesleki becerilerinin gelişmesi ve yaşadıkları başarı hazzı olduğu şeklinde ile ifade etmişlerdir. Bunun yanında projeler aracılığı ile pek çok yenilikçi yaklaşımı eğitim programı ile bütünleştirebilme fırsatı bulduklarından söz eden öğretmenler platformdaki eğitim fırsatları ve kalite etiketi alma süreçleri ile ilgili çeşitli önerilerde bulunmuştur.

TEACHER VIEWS RELATED TO E TWINNING PROJECT PRACTICES

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the views of teachers who have previously run eTwinning projects. Case study design, as one of the qualitative research models,was used in the study. The participants of the research consists of 10 teachers working in state schools in the 2020-2021 academic year, active on the eTwinning platform, who have received at least one of the National Quality Label or European Quality Label awards. The data were collected with semi-structured interview forms prepared for teachers who volunteered to participate in the study. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, teachers stated that eTwinning projects increased students' digital skills and learning motivation the most. In addition, although teachers have been introduced to the eTwinning platform in various ways, they stated that the most important motivation for them to stay on the platform is the development of their professional skills and the pleasure they experience. In addition, the teachers, who mentioned that they had the opportunity to integrate many innovative approaches with the education program through projects, made various suggestions about the training opportunities and quality labeling processes on the platform.
