Abstract

Üniversite öğrencileri arasındaki saldırganlık düzeylerini anlamak, ergenlik dönemindeki bu önemli sosyal sorunu anlaşılmasına yardımcı olabilir. Bu tür araştırmalar, saldırgan davranışlara ilişkin risk faktörlerinin belirlenmesinde ve bu faktörlerin davranışı nasıl etkilediğinin anlaşılmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu, önleme ve müdahale stratejilerinin geliştirilmesini sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca sosyo-demografik faktörlerin saldırganlık düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemek, sosyal bilimlerin genel bilgisine katkıda bulunabilir. Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin saldırganlık düzeyleri ve bazı sosyo-demografik özelliklerle ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kırşehir’de 2021-22 yılında öğrenim gören 570 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere sosyo-demografik bilgi formu ve Buss- Perry tarafından geliştirilen Türkçe’ye Madran (2012) tarafından uyarlanan Saldırganlık Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS Windows 25.0 programı kullanılarak bağımsız gruplar için t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (Anova) testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre cinsiyet, yaş, bölüm, medeni durumu, eğitim durumu arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.

Abstract

Understanding levels of aggression among university students can help to understand this important social problem in adolescence. Such research plays an important role in identifying risk factors for aggressive behavior and understanding how these factors influence behavior. This enables the development of prevention and intervention strategies. In addition, examining the effect of sociodemographic factors on aggression levels can contribute to the general knowledge of social sciences. In this study, the aggression levels of university students and their relationship with some sociodemographic characteristics were investigated. The study group of the research consists of 570 students studying in Kırşehir in 2021-22. Sociodemographic information form and the Aggression Scale developed by Buss-Perry and adapted into Turkish by Madran (2012) were applied to the students. The data obtained in the study were analyzed by using SPSS Windows 25.0 program, t-test for independent groups and one-way analysis of variance (Anova) test. According to the results of the study, significant differences were found between gender, age, department, marital status, and educational status.
