Coding education plays important role in the education of individuals who are equipped with 21st century skills, have problem solving and product development skills and can use technology effectively. The aim of this study was to determine the views of the special talented students on coding. The research was conducted according to the case study method. The study group of the study consists of 42 special talent secondary school students, 22 from 5th grade, 6 from 6th grade and 14 from 7th grade, studying at Science and Art Center (SAC) in 2019-2020 academic year. In the research, an interview form consisting of five open-ended questions was used as data collection tool. Qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. In this study, it was concluded that the opinions of special talented students on coding, the advantages and disadvantages of coding differ according to their grade levels, and this difference was related to the coding education that the students received. In addition, while giving various examples of how students from all grades can benefit from coding in daily life, it has been concluded that the examples are for robotic coding and product creation. In addition, it was determined that most of the students did not benefit from coding in their lessons and personal projects. The research was completed with the proposals of making interdisciplinary project studies for special talented students, in which they can benefit from coding to solve problems related to daily life.
