EĞİTSEL ÇEVRİMİÇİ SOSYAL ÖĞRENME ORTAMI EDMODO’NUN FİZİKSEL AKTİVİTE KAVRAMLARINI ÖĞRENMEDE ERİŞİYE VE KALICILIĞA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin eğitsel çevrim içi sosyal öğrenme ortamı Edmodo’nun fiziksel uygunluk kavramlarını öğrenmede erişiye ve kalıcılığa etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırma, Ankara ilinin Çankaya ilçesinde bulunan ve 6.sınıfta okumakta olan 192 (107 erkek, 85 kız) öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışmada, biri deney biri karşılaştırma grubu olarak basit seçkisiz örnekleme dayalı yöntemiyle iki grup seçilmiştir. Deney grubuna 6 hafta boyunca haftada bir gün, beden eğitimi ve spor dersinin ilk ders saatinde, bilişim dersliğinde o gün işlenecek konuda geçen kavramlar öğretilmiş; ikinci ders saatinde ise spor salonunda bu kavramların uygulamasına yönelik egzersizler yaptırılmıştır. Kontrol grubunda ise aynı kavramlar, eğitsel çevrim içi sosyal öğrenme ortamı Edmodo kullanılmadan anlatılarak öğretilmiş ve uygulama yapılmıştır. Veriler, “Çocuklar İçin Fiziksel Uygunluk Spor Bilgi Testi (ÇFUSBT)‟ kullanılarak uygulama öncesi ön test, uygulama sonrası son test ve uygulamadan 4 hafta sonra kalıcılık testi şeklinde toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, bağımlı gruplarda t testi ve tekrarlı ölçümler için iki faktörlü varyans analizi (2x2) ile istatistik teknikleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma ile fiziksel aktivite kavramlarının öğrenimini deney grubunda daha fazla gerçekleştiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Edmodo kullanımının ortaokul öğrencilerinin fiziksel aktivite kavramlarını daha iyi öğrenmelerinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir.
