Studies submitted to our journal for publication, preliminary evaluation, peer-review and accepted studies that are deemed appropriate by the editors in terms of scientific content and form go through important processes, including decision and preparation for publication.
Preliminary Evaluation Process: Studies submitted to the journal are primarily examined in terms of "Ethical Principles and Publication Policy" and "Purpose and Scope".Studies that do not match these elements are directly rejected by the journal editor. At this stage, the similarity reports are checked and the works with more than 20% are directly rejected by the editorial board. At this stage, the work is examined in terms of "Writing Rules". In case of deficiencies, the work is sent to the author(s) again for the necessary arrangements to be made. The author(s) should make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible. If the corrections are not made within 10 days, the editor has the right to reject the work without contacting the author. Studies that complete these stages are sent to the referees for evaluation.
Referee Evaluation Process-Double Blind Refereeing: The manuscript is sent to at least two referees for scientific evaluation without specifying the name of the author(s), taking into account their fields of expertise. The referees inform the editor whether they can evaluate the work within 7 days at the latest after the article is sent to them. If the referee does not notify within the specified time, a new referee is appointed to the study. The referees selected for the evaluation process are given a 10-day evaluation period. This period can be extended for another 5 days if necessary. At the end of this period, the duties of the referees who do not complete their evaluation or upload the evaluation report are terminated and new referees are determined. The articles sent to the referees; they evaluate it in terms of originality, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of the findings and supporting the results, and benefiting from previous studies. Referees may accept or reject the article or ask the author(s) to correct the format and/or substance.
Decision and Preparation for Publication Process: The final evaluation is made by the editor for all the articles that are in the publishing phase with the positive opinion of the referees. The editor makes the necessary examination and makes his decision. The articles that are decided to be "suitable for publication" are placed in the publication order. During the preparation process for publication, the pre-editing of the candidate article is done by the layout editor. The layout of the candidate article is directed to the authors for final reading before publication. In this process, the authors may be asked to make some adjustments in terms of form and to complete the deficiencies, if any. After the authors' final reading is completed, the candidate article is assigned to the issue for publication in the earliest issue of the journal.
Studies to be published in the journal must not have been previously published in any publication or sent to more than one journal at the same time. Responsibility in this regard belongs entirely to the authors.
