"The Journal of Security Sciences is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal published twice a year in May and November. Launched in 2012 under open access within the framework of the Beytepe Gendarmerie Schools Command, all publication rights of the Journal of Security Sciences were transferred to the Directorate of the Institute of Security Sciences, established under the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy in 2016.
Since 2012, the Journal has gained international peer-reviewed status and is currently indexed in EBSCO Publishing - Academic Complete Search, Akademia Social Sciences Index (ASOS), Social Sciences Citation Index (SOBİAD), and ULAKBİM TR Index, with articles assigned DOI numbers. Additionally, efforts are ongoing for the inclusion of the journal in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
Views, opinions, theses, and thoughts expressed in the articles are solely the personal views of the authors and do not represent the views of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy or the Institute of Security Sciences.
