The purpose of this study was to examine the individual and organizational value importance ranks of elementary school teachers. A total of 451 teachers working in 40 elementary schools from Ankara participated in the study. In this research, value ranking method was used to determine the importance ranks of 10 values representing individual and organizational levels. Results from this study indicated that while teachers gave more priority to such values as honesty, trust, respect, tolerance, and responsibility, they perceived risk taking, inclusiveness and collaboration in later ranks of the scale. However, a moderately significant positive correlation was found between teachers\' individual and organizational value importance ranks. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that longitudinal studies on which values effect teachers\' perceptions about teaching profession be conducted by using qualitative research techniques.
