The Total Lipid Content and Fatty Acid Composition Capoeta capoeta umbla and Capoeta trutta Which in Keban Dam Lake (Turkish with English Abstract)
Abstract
In this research the total lipid content and fatty acid composition were determined Capoeta capoeta umbla and Capoeta trutta which living in Keban Dam Lake. Total lipid content were ranged between 1.63 to 4.3% in Capoeta capoeta umbla and 1.00 to 1.06 in Capoeta trutta. The most abundant fatty acids were palmitic acid (16:0), oleic acid (18:1), linolenic acid (18:3), eicosapentaenoic acid (20:5), docosahexenoic acid (22:6) and nervonic acid (24:1) in both fish palmitic acid was the dominant saturated fatty acid ranging between 73.73 to 89.01% of total saturated fatty acids and oleic acid (18:1) was found the most abundant monoenoic fatty acid. The level of total w 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) was found higher than total w 6 fatty acids. The major w 3 PUFAs were eicosapentaenoic (5.38-14.65%) and dokosahexaenoic (2.65-6.05%) and the major w 6 PUFAs arachidonic (2.44-3.11%) and linoleic (2.43-4.47%). Total lipid content and fatty acid composition of Capoeta capoeta umbla was richer than Capoeta trutta.

Abstract
Bu araştırmada Keban Baraj Gölü’nde yaşayan Capoeta capoeta umbla ve Capoeta trutta’nın toplam lipit ve yağ asidi bileşimi tayin edildi. Toplam lipit miktarı Capoeta capoeta umbla da %1.63-4.3; Capoeta truta da %1.00-1.06 arasında bulundu. Her iki balıkta en fazla palmitik asit (16:0), oleik asit (18:1), linolenik asit (18:3), eikosapentaenoik asit (20:5), dokosaheksaenoik asit (22:6) ve nervonik asit (24:1) gibi yağ asitlerinin varlığı belirlendi. Doymuş yağ asitleri içinde en fazla palmitik asit (%73.73-89.01), monoenoik yağ asitleri içinde en çok oleik asit olduğu tespit edildi. Çok doymamış yağ asitlerinden w 3 yağ asitleri, her iki türde de w 6 yağ asitlerinden yüksek seviyede olduğu görüldü. w 3 yağ asitlerinden en fazla eikospentaenoik (%5.38-14.65) ile dokosaheksaenoik (%2.43-4.47) asitler bulundu. Capoeta capoeta umbla’nın Capoeta trutta ya göre toplam lipit ve yağ asidi bileşimi yönünden daha zengin olduğu saptandı.
