Fixed Point Theorems for Weakly Compatible Mappings in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Metric Spaces

Abstract

Sintunavarat and Kumam [Common fixed point theorems for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric spaces, J. Appl. Math. vol. 2011, Article ID 637958, 14 pages, 2011] defined the notion of (CLRg)property which is more general than (E.A) property. The aim of this paper is to prove a common fixed point
theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces employing (CLRg)property. Our results improve and generalize several previously known fixed point theorems of the existingliterature.
