Regulations Regarding Publication Ethics and Publication Frequency of Authors

In order to strengthen the scientific quality of our journal and its commitment to publication ethics principles, to provide equal publication opportunities to different researchers, and to increase content diversity, the Editorial and Publication Board has decided to implement the following regulations:

1. The same author(s) cannot publish articles in consecutive issues of our journal. Authors whose articles are published in one issue cannot be the lead author or co-author in the following issue.

2. Within a calendar year, a maximum of two (2) articles by the same author (as lead author or co-author) can be published in different issues.

This regulation will also be taken into account during the publication planning stage for works that have completed the evaluation process and have been accepted.

The stated principles are valid from the date of announcement.

Gazi University Journal of Science Part B: Art, Humanities, Design and Planning has been published as an international peer-reviewed journal since 2013 under the umbrella of Gazi University Journal of Science, publishing research and review articles in the fields of art, humanities, design, and planning exclusively in English. Published four times a year in electronic format, our journal maintains its global visibility by being indexed in platforms such as Google Scholar, Index Copernicus International, and Asos Index. Our efforts to expand the scope of current indexes and enhance the journal's international impact continue with determination.

Our journal focuses on scientific studies that are original, methodologically profound, and make concrete contributions to the literature at the intersection of design disciplines, planning, and art. All submitted articles undergo a rigorous preliminary review by our editorial board for journal scope, scientific originality, and compliance with ethical guidelines before being directed to the relevant field editors. Our fundamental mission is to bring academic depth to the culture of design and planning and to provide a qualified platform for current discussions in these fields.
