Öğrencilerin Hasta Merkezli Bakım Yetkinlikleri ile Uzaktan Eğitime Yönelik Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi

Abstract

ÖZ
Bu çalışma öğrencilerin hasta merkezli bakım yetkinlikleri ile uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Kesitsel tipte ve tanımlayıcı olarak planlanan çalışmanın evrenini 2 Haziran-25 Eylül 2023 tarihleri arasında bir devlet üniversitesinin yaşlı bakım ve hemşirelik programında okuyan bütün öğrenciler, örneklemini ise araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma 285 öğrenci ile tamamlanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri; öğrenci bilgi formu, Hasta merkezli bakım yetkinliği ölçeği (HMBYÖ) ve Uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutum ölçeği (UEYTÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Veriler bilgisayar ortamında sayı, yüzde, t testi, tek yönlü Anova testi ve korelasyon analizleri yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalamaları 21,38±2,36 ve çoğunluğu 21 yaş ve üzeriydi. Kadın öğrencilerin sayıca daha fazla olduğu (%78,6) katılımcıların %68’i hemşirelik bölümünde öğrenim görmekteydi. Kardeş sayısı 2 olan öğrencilerin HMBYÖ toplam puanı diğerlerine göre daha düşük çıkmıştır. HMBYÖ ve alt boyutları ile UEYTÖ arasında zayıf düzeyde pozitif yönde ilişki saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak; uygulamalı meslek adaylarının eğitimleri mümkün olabildiğince yüz yüze yapılmalıdır.

Determining Students' Patient-Centered Care Competencies and Their Attitudes Towards Distance Education

Abstract

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine students' patient-centered care competencies and their attitudes towards distance education. The population of the study, planned as a cross-sectional and descriptive study, consists of all students studying in the elderly care and nursing program of a state university between June 2 and September 25, 2023, and the sample consists of students who agreed to participate in the research. The study was completed with 285 students. Data of the study; It was collected with the student information form, Patient-centered care competency scale (HMBYÖ) and Attitude Scale towards Distance Education (UEYTÖ). The data were evaluated in a computer environment by performing numbers, percentages, t-tests, one-way ANOVA tests and correlation analyses. The average age of the students participating in the research was 21.38±2.36 and the majority were 21 years old and over. Of the participants, the number of female students was higher (78.6%), 68% were studying in the nursing department. The HMBYS total score of students with 2 siblings was lower than others. A weak positive relationship was found between HMBYS and its subscales and UEYTÖ. In conclusion; Training of applied profession candidates should be carried out face to face as much as possible.
