I. MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to carefully read the journal’s “Author Guidelines” and “Ethical Principles and Publication Policy” pages.
- The manuscript must be prepared in accordance with the official Word template available on the journal’s website. Submissions not conforming to the template may be returned during the preliminary review stage.
- The research must have high originality, scientific contribution, and methodological rigor.
- The manuscript should also be appropriate in terms of language fluency, spelling and grammar, and the quality of tables and figures. Authors are encouraged to consider language editing or external academic proofreading services before submission.
II. DERGİPARK REGISTRATION
- Authors must be registered in the DergiPark system to submit a manuscript.
- Authors without an account can register at: https://dergipark.org.tr/en/register
- After completing the registration, the submission process can be initiated through the “Submit Article” section on the journal’s DergiPark page.
III. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMISSION
The following three (3) documents must be uploaded completely during the submission:
Manuscript File:
- In Word format (.docx), prepared according to the journal template, and anonymized (without author information).
- Author details will be entered separately in the DergiPark system.
- The initial submission file name should follow this format: ArticleTitle_Version0.docx (e.g. LightweightHeadliner_Version0.docx).
Copyright Transfer Form:
- Must be signed by all authors and uploaded in PDF format.
Similarity Report:
- Must be obtained from Turnitin or iThenticate and uploaded in PDF format.
- The report must clearly show the date, software name, and total similarity percentage.
Submissions with missing documents will be rejected during the preliminary review.
IV. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE
Technical support and guidance regarding the DergiPark system can be accessed through the following resources:
Authors are strongly advised to review these resources in advance for guidance on file formats, upload steps, and template compliance.
Preliminary Check Stage
The Secretariat reviews all uploaded files for formatting and technical accuracy.
Key criteria evaluated during this stage include:
- Completeness of uploaded files,
- Template compliance (font, paragraph style, heading levels, table/figure layout),
- Similarity rate,
- Reference and citation formatting, table/figure consistency.
If deficiencies are found, authors are notified within 10 days with a list of required corrections and asked to resubmit. Once the files are deemed compliant, the manuscript proceeds to the peer review process.
