This study is an analytical investigation of simultaneous heat and mass transfer for plane stagnation flow where a gas helium or hydrogen is injected from the wall into a flowing external stream. Same type of problem was treated before for flow over a flat plate. The effects of variable physical properties and the mechanism of forced convection, diffusion and thermodynamic coupling on heat and mass transfer have been considered for plane stagnation flow. The free stream is taken to be air or a mixture of air and the injected specie. The studies are focused on the effect which free stream concentration ofthe injected specie has upon the role of thermodynamic coupling; over a wide range of TwiTe
