Effectiveness Of 5E Learning Cycle Instruction on Students’ Achievement in Cell Concept and Scientific Epistemological Beliefs
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı 5E öğrenme modelinin 6.sınıf öğrencilerinin hücre konusundaki başarı ve bilimselepistemolojik inançları üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Epistemolojik İnanç ölçeği ve Hücre Kavram testi dört ayrı sınıftaokuyan toplam 153 altıncı sınıf öğrencisine ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Uygulamada iki sınıf deney ve kontrolgrubu olarak seçilmiştir. Deney grubundaki öğrenciler dersi 5E öğrenme modeli ile işlerken, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerdersi geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile işlemişlerdir. Veriler çokyönlü varyans analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlarher iki grup arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, 5E öğrenme modeli ile öğrenimgören deney grubu öğrencilerinin hücre konusundaki başarılarının ve bilimsel epistemolojik inançlarının, kontrol grubuöğrencilerine göre anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur
